Mahindra Defence Systems a division of the Mahindra Group has commissioned a hi-tech state-of-the-art mahindra special military vehicles (MSMV) facility at Prithla in Faridabad near Delhi spread across 6 acres. The plant will manufacture 500 vehicles/ yr of up-armoured and bulletproof vehicles, riot intervention vehicles and the marksman light armoured vehicle. The unit also manufactures specialised vehicles for the armed forces, paramilitary forces & police and includes an advanced facility for R&D, product development, design & prototyping of special vehicles, a prototype shop, a shop floor and a fabrication area.
