Serbia Montenegro: Works on Tunnel

INVITATION FOR TENDERS

Railways of Montenegro intends, using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development towards the cost of a project to undertake emergency rehabilitation of the railway infrastructure.

The Employer now invites sealed tenders from contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan: Works on Tunnel, on the Montenegro railway lines.

The works are about the rehabilitation of Tunnel - Tunnel n.182 Ostrovica from km 347 + 172.44 to km 350 + 999.75

Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms from any country.

To be qualified for the award of a contract, tenderers must satisfy the following minimum criteria regarding experience, personnel, equipment, financial position and litigation history, specified below and/or as detailed in the Tender documents:

1. General Experience: - Annual turnover > Euro Four (4) million equivalent in last Five (5) years. - At least Three (3) projects similar in the last Five (5) years.

4. Financial Position: to meet construction cash flow not less than euro 500,000.

5. If requested, the documents will be promptly dispatched by courier and, in addition, electronically via e-mail but no liability can be accepted for loss or late delivery. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Euro 70,000 or its equivalent in a convertible currency.

Tenders must be delivered to the office at the address below on or before Tuesday 09 /06 /2009 at 12:00 hrs (Podgorica, local time), at 12:30 hrs p.m.

Tenders will be opened in the presence of those tenderers representatives who choose to attend. A register of potential tenderers who have purchased the tender documents may be inspected at the address below. China : CUIJIABA NANLIDU SCENIC SPOT DEVELOPMENT

The development of Nanlidu Scenic Spot can help form the scenic belt from Xintang Honghuatang Stone Forests to Xiaoxikou of Jianshi County.

The project can manage to meet the demands of tourists who are of different levels and of different ages, for it can make tourists feel that they are close to the nature. With the development of the economy, more and more people will move to towns or cities. Therefore, more and more people will love visiting the countryside and experiencing the primitive life in the countryside. The project plans to make full use of the local characteristic diets so that visitors can experience the all-round Tujia Way of life personally. Living in the local farmers’ houses, visitors can deeply feel the customs and cultures of Tujia minority. The unique diet here includes a kind of special fish and mutton, which are known to most native people. Suppose in the first year after the project is put into practice 50,000 tourists visit here and on average one tourist spend 100RMB enjoying themselves in this scenic spot, the total value of output will be 5,000,000RMB and the annual profit can amount to 1,000,000RMB;In the second year 80,000 tourists are supposed to pay a visit here and on average one consume 180RMB, the total value of output will be 14,000,000RMB and the annual profit will be 3880,000RMB;In the third year the value of output will be 25,000,000RMB.It is predicted that within five years the profits can cover the total cost. The benefits will keep rising steadily if the management and service are improved continuously.
