Sri Jyoti Renewable Energy a group company of Jyoti Bio Energy engaged in the biomass projects is to set up 2 biomass based power plants in Haryana. The units will have a capacity of 7.5 MW and will be located in Fatehabad & Bhiwani districts. The project entails a cumulative investment of Rs.600 million to Rs.700 million. Avant-Garde Engineers & Consultants, Chennai is the consultant and equipment suppliers are yet to be finalised. As of March 2009, environmental clearances are awaited. The projects are slated for completion in 14 months from zero date.
