India : wind power farm

Cape Energy plans to set up a wind farm in Tirunelveli district of TN. The wind farm with a capacity of 15 MW (60×250 KW). Shriram EPC, Chennai has been awarded the turnkey contract at a cost of Rs.700 million. As of February 2009, the project implementation has been initiated. The project is expected to be completed by April 2009.

Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) invites international eligible bidders to participate for supplying 2×125 MVA 22/22/220 KV power transformers for Gabel El Zait substation in Canal Zone, as shown in tender documents which is available against presentation of payment receipt of a non-refundable fee of USD 2000 from the National Bank of Egypt - Nasr City branch. EETC´s account no.: 11001007177 together with an application (original +2 copies) showing the name, address, e-mail, fax and telephone numbers (inside and outside) of both supplier and local agent and addressed to the Head of Purchasing and Store Sector. Submit tenders in 2 sealed envelopes (technical and financial) on or before 31/03/2009 at 12:00 pm including the tender security with an amount of USD 1,000,000. The technical envelope contains the technical offer including all information as specified in the tender security. Completion period: 16 months. The financial envelope contain prices and quantity schedules only. The technical envelopes will be opened on 31/03/2009 and the financial envelope will be opened for the technically accepted tenders on a later date. The conditions of EETC purchasing and contracting regulations will be considered as an integral part of the tender documents. The project will be financed from financial European banks (KfW and EC-EIB). Tender validity: 180 days starting from tender´s opening date. Obtain further information at EETC.
