INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ON CORRIDOR 5C, SECTION DRIVUŠA-KAKANJ
 

This Invitation for Expressions of Interest follows the General Procurement Notice for Corridor 5c Project which was published in Procurement Opportunities on 13th October 2008, under project ID: 38716.

Bosnia and Herzegovina has signed loan agreements with European Investment Bank (hereinafter EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (hereinafter EBRD) to finance priority sections of the motorway on the route of Pan European Corridor 5c through Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Employer) intends applying part of the proceeds of these loans towards the cost of civil works and consulting services to be procured for the section of motorway from Drivuša to Kakanj.

The construction and supervision of works of the motorway section from Drivuša to Kakanj has a total length of 15,4 km, and has been divided into the following three separate Lots:

• Lot No.1: Subsection Bilješevo-Kakanj, length of 8,955 km, which will be financed by the loan signed with European Investment Bank (EIB)

• Lot No.2: Subsection Gorica-Bilješevo, length 3,56 km, which will be financed by the loan signed with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and

• Lot No. 3: Subsection Drivuša-Gorica, length 2,885 km, will be financed by the loan signed with European Investment Bank (EIB)

INVITATION FOR TENDERS

Railways of Montenegro intends, using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development towards the cost of a project to undertake emergency rehabilitation of the railway infrastructure.

The Employer now invites sealed tenders from contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan: Works on Tunnel, on the Montenegro railway lines.

The works are about the rehabilitation of Tunnel - Tunnel n.182 Ostrovica from km 347 + 172.44 to km 350 + 999.75

Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms from any country.

To be qualified for the award of a contract, tenderers must satisfy the following minimum criteria regarding experience, personnel, equipment, financial position and litigation history, specified below and/or as detailed in the Tender documents:

1. General Experience: - Annual turnover > Euro Four (4) million equivalent in last Five (5) years. - At least Three (3) projects similar in the last Five (5) years.

4. Financial Position: to meet construction cash flow not less than euro 500,000.

Litigation History Tender documents may be obtained from the office at the address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of EURO 200. and should be paid to Eljeznicka Infrastruktura Crne Gore AD account number 400876851700 EUR, SWIFT CODE CKBCMEPG for bidders from abroad or account number 510-22146-47 for bidders from Montenegro, accounts at Crnogosrska Komercijalna Banka AD, Podgorica

If requested, the documents will be promptly dispatched by courier and, in addition, electronically via e-mail but no liability can be accepted for loss or late delivery. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Euro 70,000 or its equivalent in a convertible currency.

Tenders must be delivered to the office at the address below on or before Tuesday 09 /06 /2009 at 12:00 hrs (Podgorica, local time), at 12:30 hrs p.m.

Tenders will be opened in the presence of those tenderers representatives who choose to attend. A register of potential tenderers who have purchased the tender documents may be inspected at the address below. Prospective tenderers may obtain further information from, and inspect and acquire the tender documents at, the following office:
